President's Message

I am really pleased and energized with all of the renewals, as well as, the new3 members of the Lafayette Chamber County Chamber.

I am filled with expectations about our "New Board of Directors" which were appointed at our first meeting of the 2010 year.

They are: Robin Wallace, Darlene Thom, Carol Lawson, Linda Partney, Dan Saethre, and Joann Scott. Our executive board is ; Jim Hollis, President, Vi Johnson, Vice President, Cheryl Hollis, Treasurer, and Robin Wallace is our new Secretary.

Letters to all members past and present were mailed out a week before the meeting, inviting them to come and participate at this important meeting.

We had a great turn out in as much as those who were, in attendance had a lot of great suggestions to offer the chamber. I am looking forward to working with this new board, which is filled with enthusiasm.

 We urge all of the businesses in the County and Town of Mayo, to join the Chamber and help build “YOUR CHAMBER AND YOUR COMMUNITY”. I am excited about getting all of the Townships businesses involved in helping this to be the best Chamber in the area. However, this can only be accomplished with everyone’s help, and involvement. We are reaching out to all of the businesses and residents in the Lafayette County area. Such as; HATCH BEND, COOKS HAMMOCK, DAY, AND BUCKVILLE.

Folks, this is your chance to join in the fun and have a say as to what goes on in your chamber...PLEASE GET INVOLVED, IF YOU HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS OR SUGGESTIONS ABOUT THE CHAMBER, CALL US AND LET US KNOW WHAT CAN BE DONE TO APPEASE THIS SITUATION. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU, IT’S YOUR BOARD, YOUR OFFICERS, AND YOU’RE CHAMBER.
